I have over 20 years of improv experience, and that has taught me you have to go into situations with an open and accepting mind. It has also taught me that when things aren’t going my way or I can’t make sense of what is happening, making clear choices is the best way to resolve the situation.

The same skills apply to how we interact with our money. When you are open, accepting, and clear with what you want to do and how you want to do it, suddenly everything starts to make sense, and money becomes fun. No scary.

My wife and I felt like we were just making up our money decisions as we went. We didn’t know what we were doing, or if we were even doing the right thing. I wish I had someone in our corner, someone who had our back as we were going along.

That is why I became a financial coach. To help others on their journey. To be someone who says “I have your back”, because nothing is scarier than being on stage all by yourself.
